A Special Mid-Month Edition---A Real Life Dilemma That Isn't Fictional: "The Strange Case Of The Phantom Red Tesla: The Kidnapping Of The Unsuspecting"

Arthur Conan Doyle Would Be Proud!

Not an illuminated hound roaming Dartmoor bogs but a bright red Tesla haunting Pioneer Square streets and avenues posing as a taxicab luring the unaware into his trap, then overcharging passengers again and again while City of Seattle and King County inspectors and regulators look on, somehow frozen in place,  victims screams and shouts and cries for help forever unheeded, the devilish red Tesla telling everyone to "go to hell! go to hell! smoke and brimstone covering my trail! go to hell Seattle! go to hell! You cannot stop me, I will never fail!"

Ah yes, have we somehow been transported back to Victorian England, where bumbling authorities stumble upon themselves, where the likes of Jack Stapleton and Professor Moriarity outfox everyone except that relentless sleuth Holmes, somehow outwitting his adversaries and winning the day?  Perhaps we have, and it might take Mister Taxi "me myself and I" to fly up and capture the lout terrorizing innocents not detecting evil intent, like an avenging angel from above I will be sent!

So it goes his name and game is known, his car too they readily see but day after day, week after week, month after month, Mister Red Tesla remaining free.  Is he a criminal? Yes! A societal pest? Yes! But still he roams night after night, rising from the gloaming as a yellow suns set, never caring but much harm is done, why for him its all great fun, as even it is told he carries a gun, intimidating cabbies, shouting: "Run! Run! Run! HA HA HA!"---" the City and County doesn't care! here see my knife! let me slice your throat! Trim your hair! the football and baseball stadiums my personal home and lair!  All the business is mine: Beelzebub my Protector and Saint in transportation crime, and I will keep stealing fares to the end of time!"

"As the ringing bells chime chime chime!"
